
Lance Trussell

Lance Trussell is a classical guitarist, composer, arranger and teacher based in Northern Virginia. He holds a Bachelors of Music in Classical Guitar Performance and Jazz studies from Shenandoah University where he studied with Glenn Caluda, Michael Delalla, Michael Maher, and Risa Carlson. In 2009 he performed as a guest artist for the Shenandoah Conservatory Wind Ensemble and over his career he has performed in master classes for renowned artists such as Berta Rojas, Matteo Mela, Adam Holzman, Stephen Aron and Ronn McFarlane. After graduating in 2010, he studied guitar at the Levine School of Music with virtuoso guitarist Franco Platino. Lance has completed Suzuki guitar training under the instruction of David Madsen at the Hartt School of Music and is a registered teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He performs regularly at local wineries in the Virginia area with a focus on acoustic guitar in classical and folk styles.
