Rosemary Williams' musical journey began at CSM, where she took lessons on clarinet and piano when she was in high school. Rosemary now holds a Bachelor of Music in clarinet performance from James Madison University; in addition, she took a number of graduate-level music classes at Yale University while pursuing a Master's degree in liturgy. While in school, she performed in a wide variety of both large and small ensembles, and developed a special love for opera. As such, some of her favorite experiences include performing in opera orchestras for Die Zauberflöte, La Bohème, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Candide, and Le nozze di Figaro.

Rosemary is passionate about cultivating comprehensive musicianship in her students, which includes close study of music's performance, history, theory, and societal impact.
